Is it possible for a retailer to know what consumers are going to buy even before they think of buying it? Amazon says yes. The giant Seattle-based retailer will now be able to predict and ship purchases even before buyers click "purchase." Amazon will be use a number of factors such as previous orders or previous items in your shopping cart to anticipate your future purchases. Packages will then wait at major shipping companies' hubs until a confirmed order comes through the system. This prediction system is still in its patent stage but we may be seeing different aspects of it rolling out soon. (PSFK)

Aerie, a sister brand of American Eagle, has launched its newest Aerie Real campaign to instead promote real models that haven't been photoshopped within their ads, with copy on the photos reading, "The girl in this photo has not been retouched.
